Five Springs Farm

This contemporary house designed by Architect Robert Troxell is ideally sited to capture spectacular 40 mile eastward views of Albemarle County. The expansive use of glass, deep overhangs and low pitched roof recall the earlier modern houses of California much admired by the owners. In contrast with this structure, the farm's original homestead cabin stands within sight and was restored by Gibson Magerfield in a second phase of work.
